Fadi Chehadé


Fadi Chehadé began working with Abry in 2016. Fadi is focused on strategic transactions in the digital information and Internet sector. He is on the advisory board with the World Economic Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and is a member of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation. Prior to Abry, Fadi was President and CEO of ICANN, the global authority managing the Internet’s logical infrastructure.  Fadi founded several companies in the digital space, including Vocado which was purchased by Oracle in 2018 and Viacore which was acquired by IBM in 2006. He also founded and led RosettaNet, an IT Industry Coalition establishing pioneering standards for eBusiness.  Fadi also held corporate posts at AT&T, Ingram, and IBM where as General Manager, he led IBM’s Global Technology Services in the Middle East and Africa. He is currently a fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School, and serves on the boards of several organizations including Sentry Systems LLC, Interactions Corp, and the advisory board of USC’s School on Public Diplomacy. Fadi received his M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University and his B.S. In Computer Science summa cum laude from New York University.
