John Connor joined ABRY in 2007. John is head of ABRY’s bank loan effort with responsibility for sourcing investments and portfolio management. Prior to joining ABRY, he was a Sr. Vice President at Hartford Investment Management Company, where he launched and managed a $5B bank loan mutual fund. John has extensive previous experience in both investment management and leveraged finance. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business, was a cum laude graduate of Columbia University, and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
