Windows & .NET Magazine Network Launches Content Syndication Program

One of First in IT Industry to Provide Service

LOVELAND, CO - SEPTEMBER 04, 2003 - Windows & .NET Magazine Network®, a Penton Media property, announced the launch of their content syndication program, designed to share their feature-rich technology content with sites that are not large enough to produce their own stories.

"Our content syndication program is a great opportunity for sites without the means to produce their own content to make their sites more robust," said Kim Paulsen, publisher. "It also benefits us by pulling more viewers onto our sites, and making them aware of all the information that the Windows & .NET Magazine Network® offers."

The content syndication program is a free service that allows Web managers to add Windows & .NET Magazine Network® news headlines to their sites. The manager can select the topic(s) of content wanted for their own site, along with the number of feeds desired. These headlines refresh automatically as new content is posted on Windows & .NET Magazine Network's sites.

The content syndication program makes information available from the published Windows & .NET Magazine, the news site www.wininformant.com and all of the Network's email newsletters and Web sites. The content syndication program was launched in early July. Windows & .NET Magazine Network® is one of the first in the IT industry to provide the service.

"We've designed the program to be user-friendly, so site managers can create a fully customized site with ease," said Paulsen. "We set up the program so that it takes a minimum amount of time on the Web master's part to make use of our content syndication program on their site. The response to our program has been tremendous."
